Teaira Gray is a Michigan-based multidisciplinary artist. Her work is influenced by themes of nostalgia that are reminiscent of her childhood and formative years and are expressed through her honed techniques and stylization. She is the founder of the design studio Wisterni, which specializes in graphic design, illustration, and mural painting. She is an annual contributor to the mural festival ‘Color the Creek’ in Battle Creek Michigan. She is a graduate of the Photography & Multimedia department at Kellogg Community College and is currently studying Interdisciplinary Art & Design at the College for Creative Studies.

As an illustrator and graphic designer, I explore themes of nostalgia that are reminiscent of my childhood and formative years. I continually seek to experiment with new techniques and combine multimedia processes with drawing, painting, and photography. The unifying thread of intricate emotions and shared experiences that connect us as humans, despite our unique paths, is what captivates me the most. Through the use of illustration and design, I strive to create an immersive experience that highlights our collective sense of nostalgia. Bright colors and imaginative elements are used to bring my vision to life.
